The Presales Engineer who will work closely with the Sales team & Manufacturers to deliver competitive proposals & Technical Support. The role is responsible for ensuring our bids are designed to client specifications with full compliance, at competitive rates and to deliver the technical explanation or training whenever required.
Ensure that bids are turned around on time and in a timely manner. Evaluate RFPs properly, raise RFIs, clarify technical queries well before the submission of proposals.
Design a fully compliant solution, make proposals to fit client’s commercial and technical requirement.
Take part in technical presentations.
Deliver technical presentations to clients/consultants to showcase the capabilities of proposed solutions.
Perform detailed site surveys, coordinate with subcontractors, participate in pre and post bid meetings and support sales team.
Ensure finalized proposal, cost sheet and design information is handed over to the projects team and sales team.
Troubleshoot technical issues as they arise.
Conduct proof of concept (POC) and training for partners, system integrators or sub distributors.
Overall 10 years of experience.
Experience in Bidding and proposals.
Understanding of ELV, AV and IT systems.
Able to demonstrate solutions through block diagrams, schematics, Interface Control Documents and proper review of shop drawings.
Ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
Knowledge about major brands in CCTV, Access Control, WLAN & Networking, PA/BGM, Home Automation , SMA/IPTV etc.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
Candidates need to have valid transferrable residence permit in Qatar.
